A Prayer For Today
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of this new day, for the blessings you have bestowed upon me, and for your constant presence in my life. As I navigate this day, I ask for your guidance and wisdom in all my decisions. Grant me the strength to face any challenges that may come my way, and help me to walk in your ways, honoring you in all that I do. May my actions today reflect your love and grace, bringing glory to your name. Amen. |

Interesting FactThe Bible is the World’s Most Shoplifted Book It might surprise you to learn that the Bible, a book emphasising honesty and morality, is also the most shoplifted book in the world. This trend highlights both the accessibility and desire for the Bible, as it’s often stocked in places where it’s given out freely, such as hotel rooms, churches, and community centres. This paradox is a reminder of how strongly people yearn for spiritual guidance—even if it comes in unexpected ways. |

Global Missions
This past year we set an ambitious goal to raise $500 each month, totaling $6,000 annually, to support Global Missions. As we concluded our fiscal year in June, we are proud to report that we raised an impressive $18,175 for our missions. Your continued support is greatly appreciated and we're excited to see what we can achieve in the coming year! We have partnered with three great missions working for God: Christa & Stanley Gitonga who are in Nairobi, Kenya King of Kings Community Herzliya, a church plant in Herzliya, Israel and Jordan H. with the PAOC If you would like to support these missions with us, you can make an offering the same way as your tithe, but please write "missions" on your receipt / envelope / comment section of your e-transfer. Thank you. |
P.S.
The first one to email us and correctly Name That Tune, will have an LGF mug waiting for them on Sunday. Find Marissa at the sound booth. |
