Have A Blessed Week
You might be wondering why there is a picture of chili dogs in the newsletter. Well, it's National Chili Dog Day! We wanted to do something a little different and have some fun. If you haven't planned your dinner for tonight, why not throw a hot dog on the BBQ and whip up some chili to join in the tasty celebration? We know it may seem silly to celebrate this day, but it gives us a chance to express our gratitude for the food we enjoy, the efforts of those who cook, and the nourishment it provides. Dear God, we thank You for the gift of food and for the people who prepare it with love and skill. We ask for Your blessings on their hands and their work. May they be filled with joy as they nourish us. We also remember those who may not have enough to eat and ask for Your provision for them. Amen. |

An atheist scientist came to God and said, “We’ve figured out how to make a man without you.” God said, “OK, let me see you do it.” So the atheist bent down to the ground and scooped up a handful. But God stopped him and said, “Oh, no you don’t. Get your own dirt!” |

Global Missions
This past year we set an ambitious goal to raise $500 each month, totaling $6,000 annually, to support Global Missions. As we concluded our fiscal year in June, we are proud to report that we raised an impressive $18,175 for our missions. Your continued support is greatly appreciated and we're excited to see what we can achieve in the coming year! We have partnered with three great missions working for God: Christa & Stanley Gitonga who are in Nairobi, Kenya King of Kings Community Herzliya, a church plant in Herzliya, Israel and Jordan H. with the PAOC If you would like to support these missions with us, you can make an offering the same way as your tithe, but please write "missions" on your receipt / envelope / comment section of your e-transfer. Thank you. |
