4-14 Initiative

This Week's Focus - NATION

Research shows us the window of opportunity when children are the most receptive to receive Christ is between the ages of 4 to 14 years old and those who receive Christ at this early stage of life, are most likely to continue a lifelong commitment to their faith. This is why the PAOC commits the month of April to pray for kids in the 4-14 Initiative.

We Need You

We Need You

This summer, starting June 8, we will be offering an unstructured Kids Church Program for children ages 1 to 5 years. We are looking for adults and teens to help supervise. The program will include a variety of activities such as crafts, stories, games, and play-doh.

If you know the dates you will be available to assist, please sign up on the schedule located on the table in the foyer.

Please note that you will need a current criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check. Fee waivers for the Vulnerable Sector Check are available, and the church is happy to cover the cost.

UPCOMING EVENTS

From Blaine & Elisa

From Blaine & Elisa

Hey Youth!

We know we usually take long weekends off, but since our family will be away next weekend and at Youth Quake the following one, we thought it’d be great to hang out this Friday!

We’re planning to go see The King of Kings at 3:15 PM — so let’s meet at the theater at 2:45 PM. After the movie, we’re heading to Dairy Queen to hang out and grab some food or treats!

Families are totally invited to join us for both the movie and DQ — and you’ll need a ride anyway, so it’s a great chance for everyone to come along.

We can book tickets together, so if you’d like us to grab yours, just send us a message. Tickets are $10.50 — you can e-transfer that to elisastephan@me.com, and we’ll have your ticket ready when you arrive!

Can’t wait to hang out!

Little Lambs - And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you may be where I am.

John 14:33

Journey Makers - In everything I did, I showed you that we must work hard and help the weak. We must remember the words of the Lord Jesus. He said, "it is more blessed to give than receive."

Acts 20:35

The moon and stars they wept
The morning sun was dead
The Savior of the world was fallen
His body on the cross
His blood poured out for us
The weight of every curse upon Him

One final breath He gave
As Heaven looked away
The Son of God was laid in darkness
A battle in the grave
The war on death was waged
The power of hell forever broken
